FlightSupport

Find the right next contact for a flight, from its destination and purpose.

PROJECT OVERVIEW

Move from a destination to the next practical inquiry.

FlightSupport helps aviation businesses, private aircraft operators, and drone teams explore landing locations, aircraft, and operational support for a planned flight. It organizes publicly available information into a starting point for the next inquiry and operating preparation.

THE PROJECT CONTEXT

It can be difficult to find the right operations contact.

Even when the purpose and destination are known, information about landing sites, aircraft, applications, permissions, and flight support may be scattered. Public information can help people identify what to confirm and who to contact next.

Help aviation and drone operators start with a flight purpose and destination, then find relevant landing sites, aircraft, application or permission contacts, and operational support. Make verified information useful for the next inquiry or arrangement so the people involved can prepare from a shared understanding.

OPERATING CONTEXT

Why the workflow matters

These points describe operating context and information needs; they are not claims of project outcomes.

  • Operators may need to find landing sites, aircraft, and flight-support contacts separately for each destination and purpose.
  • Japan has established certification, pilot-skill, and operational rules for unmanned aircraft.
  • Level 4 drone operations are subject to specific aircraft certification, pilot qualification, flight permission and approval, and operating-rule requirements.
  • Before a flight, operators must confirm site conditions and any required applications, permissions, or consent with the relevant parties.

HOW THE WORK FLOWS

A sequence participants can follow

  1. 01Describe the flight purpose and destination for a potential operations contact.
  2. 02Review landing-site information and conditions before making an inquiry.
  3. 03Confirm aircraft and pilot requirements with the operations team.
  4. 04Identify the applications, permissions, or consent needed for the next step.
  5. 05Check support availability and conditions before arranging a flight.
  6. 06Keep the information confirmed for use in later flight preparation.

SOOO'S IMPLEMENTATION ROLE

Connect flight information to the next inquiry and arrangement.

SOOO does not make flight-purpose or operating decisions for the operator. We design and implement the information flow that passes confirmed details about sites, applications, aircraft, pilots, and support to the next responsible person.

  • Create an information path from a flight purpose and destination to potential site, aircraft, and support contacts.
  • Organize site conditions, applications, permissions, aircraft, and pilot information for operational review.
  • Help users move from public information to the next contact and required confirmation.
  • Make site and support information maintainable and reusable in later inquiries.

PARTICIPATION

Roles in the project

Aviation and aircraft operators

Share a flight purpose and operating conditions to identify the next inquiry.

Landing-site and facility managers

Present site conditions and respond to use inquiries.

Drone operators

Confirm aircraft, pilot, and operating requirements for a planned flight.

Flight-support providers

Help prepare applications and operating arrangements.
